We tried out the Wagyu sampler set at Japanese BBQ Yoshi. Tucked away on 1316 Young Street, this place could be easily missed if you don’t know what you’re looking for.

We found this place by accident and weren’t disappointed. Included in the Wagyu sampler set were five different cuts of Wagyu: cap steak, short rib, toro or shoulder cut, yakisugi or thin-sliced, and ribeye. Along with the wagyu, we got garlic shrimp, soba, pork belly, beef bao buns, chawanmushi, and kimchee. And who could forget dessert?! A dense chocolate cake topped with marshmallow toppings.
